Just starting to road race, and I’m always doing 2 to 5 hour loops out of c-ville at 18-20 mph.3 times a week or so. Trying to race anything local. PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU NEED GAS MONEY IN EXCHANGE FOR A RIDE TO ANY ROAD RACE, in advance of course.

I am going into my 4th season as a AG triathlete. My background is running, recreational bike riding, and most recently swimming. I have done the Wintergreen Ascent, Jeff cup, Tour of Tucker Co. WV, and Page Co. Rd Race. so far (pretty much all last year 2009). I have a lot to learn but my primary goal is Eagleman 70.3 this coming June, but I am finding road races/TT to be just as fulfilling. I am signed up for Jeff Cup and Dismal Dash so far for 2010!

That’s funny. No, wait, I did take 3rd (beginner class) in a Wednesday’s @ Wakefield MTB race back in 2005.
Elementary school teacher and bike rider for 20 years.
I finish all my races. That is the least embarrassing thing that I can say.
Former road racer, now I’m old and want to go fast again but I’ve been away from the sport for a few years. So I’m on a three year plan to get my racing fitness back. 50+ masters, here I come!
