Turkey Day Ride report

We had a great Thanksgiving morning ride, with 23 riders and one dog joining together for a good time. The chilly foggy morning cleared up almost immediately as Dave T led the group out.
There were all abilities present, with a few kids under 10, including my son Nick and the Ramsey’s son Jasper, and many grown ups acting like kids.
The pace was conversational with stops from time to time to regroup. Thanks to the immaculate trail conditions (Dave blew all the leaves off the trails the day before- Thank you!), everyone’s tires were holding well, with the occasional wipeout for entertainment.
Eric’s crank started falling off after the first 5 mile loop, so that gave us time to regroup and fix the problem. From that point on, there were different groups heading either on longer rides or home.
It was a great time, and perfect justification for the 3rd slice of pie I just ate.
