Wintergreen Volunteers needed

Hi all,

Everyone’s favorite 7 mile climb, the Wintergreen Ascent is coming up on Saturday May 2nd. Hosted by CRC this is the Virginia State Hill Climb Championship, a Virginia BAR and BAR Omnium race. But we cannot put it on without your help. We need volunteers to help with course marshaling and all the various tasks that have made this such a fun event. If you would like to race on the cheap, have a family member or two volunteer and we will hook you up. If you are handy with a camera, course marshalling is a great way to get shots of racers. As this is the event which helps CRC retain its status as an USA Cycling club and a Virginia Cycling Association Club, if there is any way you can make it, you club needs you. Plus its actually a pretty fun event to work.

Tri-clubers I know many of you would like to improve your climbing- well this is the event for you. In this era of tight budgets, having you significant other volunteer and your racing on the cheap. Or maybe you would like to come out and hellp and check out the racing up close and personal yourself?
