Jeff Cup Practice Ride #1 this sunday 10:30AM

Hi Everyone,

With temps projected in the 60’s, Sunday will be the first CRC Jeff Cup Practice Ride, previewing the course and having experienced racers on hand to give out tips on how to ride the race and answering any questions you may have about racing. First lap will be a group ride inspecting the course and showing off the key points on the race and how to approach them. Second lap will be a hot lap; broken into A and B groups. Our very own Craig Griffin, veteran of many Jeff Cups, will lead the B group hot lap; and I will be with the A’s. Each lap is 11 miles. After the second lap, we can regroup for more hot laps- go to Belnium hill and practice the climb or whatever the group wants to do.

Ride leaves from the Walton Middle School parking lot at 10:30, just like the real race. If you want to meet us on the course, that’s ok too.
