Nice job at the Paranormal everyone!

Great weather and a superb course for the Paranormal this year.

I did Duo Sport with Craig. He did the two day laps (scoring a epic crash/mechanical on his second lap), and I did the rest of the laps (about 4 hours worth). Thoughts:

A carbon hardtail is a bit rough for 4 hours of straight riding- its probably time for a full suspension rig for next year (going to take a shot at Solo). If you interested in my high zoot carbon Specialized carbon hardtail let me know and I will give you the CRC deal.

The Light and Motion Seca 700 Race was simply awesome. Insane power for a crazy long time. LED is definitely the way to go. I am going to add a helmet light next year and then I will rocking the “Close Encounters of the Third Kind” level of light in the woods.

Almost no moon made it really, really dark in the woods- and the random nocturnal animals moving around certainly helped with the spooky factor.

I managed to bring in two eggs unbroken and a bunch of bands, which was fun but when I rolled in at 9:40PM, decided to call it a night. Shortly thereafter, I chainsawed through some Sal’s Pizza (it wasn’t pretty).
