We are asking for signups for lunch planning purposes, so please do ask those you pass the flyer to be sure to send an email RSVP if they plan on attending.

Quick and dirty details from Johanna’s email:

Charlottesville Racing Club and Team Velo Bella invite you to an upcoming ladies mountain bike clinic geared towards all skill levels. Beginner riders are especially encouraged to attend! Details are as follows, feel free to pass it along and let us know what kind of response you get so we can best estimate how many to expect. Thanks in advance for the added exposure, we’re looking forward to a great day!

Date: August 9th, 2008
Place: Walnut Creek Park in Charlottesville, VA
Cost: Free, park entry fee is waiver for clinic riders!, riders must bring helmet and working bike.
Schedule:

• 9:30am – 12noon: Skills course (handling, log hopping, rock gardens, bike maintenance, etc.)
• 12noon – 1pm: Lunch break, separate into smaller groups based on ability level

• 1pm – 3:30pm: Trail rides in groups

Leaders: Johanna Kraus: Charlottesville Racing Club, pro rider sponsored by Velo Bella; Christy Tankersley: Bike Factory Racing Team, Williamsburg rider, leading women’s sport category in 2008 Virginia Off Road Series; Michele Co: Bike Factory Racing Team, Charlottesville rider, first place overall women XXC in 2008 Virginia Series
