ID3 Roanoke Races this weekend, whose going?

Fletcher.Eric's picture

I will be doing all three races. Mark King will be too. Alan said he was going last night.

A few other people have said they were probably going. Add a comment if you’re going to race this weekend.

————————————————————————-

Thanks for entering in this years ID3 Races.

Some quick reminders before heading down to Roanoke and Blacksburg:

In order to provide exceptional customer service, please bring your printed BikeReg registration receipt, valid USCF and driver’s licenses.

Since you are pre-registered through BikeReg, you DO NOT need to print/sign the VAS waiver (checking the box online is sufficient) and you DO NOT need to fill out the USCF liability waiver, just sign it at registration (one is printed for each event you entered with all of your info – BikeReg is great!)

Please renew or purchase a USCF license prior to showing, this helps everyone – visit www.usacycling.org and/or bring your printed temporary license.

Men Cat 5 and Women Cat 4 USCF One Day License applicants can only purchase the $10 license at the event and is NOT available online. Please arrive early to process you license. We do encourage you to become a USCF member if you plan on racing the rest of the year.

Remember, registration closes 30 minutes prior to the start of your scheduled criterium events (Fri/Sun) and 9:30am for the time trial (Sat). If you are pre-registered, you DO NOT need to be there 30 minutes prior, yo are already on the start list. However, it is wise to get there early so you have sufficient time to make the start.

Start lists for the time trial will be posted Thursday online and updated at the race on Saturday. First rider goes off at 10:00am in 1 minute increments.

And, your race bib number has more value than a keepsake – look for the coupons printed at the bottom:
Friday and Saturday numbers, Blue 5 Restaurant is offering $5 off any meal (located just around the corner from the criterium) and East Coasters Cycling & Fitness is offering 20% off accessories for the Sunday number.

If you have any questions, please review the info at www.id3races.com, then email or call – we will do our best to answer quickly.

Our goal is to process you quickly through registration, so your cooperation is a great help!

Thanks to all of our sponsors and volunteers to make this all happen!

We are very excited to host races in Roanoke and Blacksburg, and look forward to providing you with a great race experience!
