WINTERGREEN ASCENT FACT SHEET
The Registered riders can pick up their packets and numbers at C-ville Bike and Tri Thursday May 1st and Friday May 2nd until 3 PM.

Registration packets can also be picked up at the Edge Restaurant at Wintergreen Friday the 2nd beginning at 5PM until 9 PM and on race day from 7:30 to 9:30 at The Wintergarden parking lot on Devil’s Knob.

There will also be a carb dinner for riders at the Edge Restaurant Friday the 2nd from 6 to 9pm.

Shuttle Buses will be available from The Wintergarden parking lot on Devil’s Knob to the start area beginning at 8:00AM. You can take your trainer down with you and the shuttle will return it to the top. ABSOLUTELY NO RIDING YOUR BICYCLE DOWN THE MOUNTAIN. THERE WILL BE NO PARKING AT THE STRIP MALL OPPOSITE THE START THIS YEAR-CARS WILL BE TOWED!!

Pro 1-2 and Women 1-2-3 will compete for Cash prizes.

Wintergreen has offered a ski weekend package for anyone who breaks the existing course record held by Ian Ayers (33:42) currently of the Colavita Cycling Team.

Wintergreen is offering discount lodging and spa rates (SEE BELOW) to participants. Wintergreen will allow showers for $5.00 at the Wintergarden Spa at Devil’s Knob. Anyone interested in showers should enter through the pool entrance on the left side of the building and tell the staff they are participating in the bike race.

Don’t forget about the 9AM Sunday Casual Ride meeting at the Ski Barn 151 south to Crab Tree Falls and along the Blue Ridge Parkway with a blazing descent down Reed’s Gap back to the Ski Barn. Meet at the Ski Barn corner of 151 and Reeds Gap. Please park at the parking area near the start of the time trial or in Nellysford, NOT AT THE SKI BARN.
