A great day to race. It wasn’t too cold and the wind was not noticeable. Unfortunately, I got side tracked, Google maps did not pick up a closed road in Norfolk. I got to the race with enough time to pick up my number and get dressed. I made it to the line with 30 seconds to spare and off I went. It was painful but once the lactic acid passed(at the 5 mile mark mark) I felt not terrible. I saw Eric as he passed me shortly after the turn around. It was a fun time time.
